Some personal information is requested prior to and sometimes during therapy or coaching support. This is to ensure that the support being offered to you is appropriate and to ensure that safeguarding is adhered to. Any information requested will be used solely to ensure this support is centered on your needs and will not be used for any other purpose. All information is confidential and would only ever be shared if there is a risk to you or to someone else or there is a safeguarding concern, for example with your G.P or a specialist service. Information is not routinely shared with third parties, but if you agree to a third party involvement, for example referral to a specialist service, this will be discussed with you and your agreement sought. I may receive information form referring agencies with your consent. These may be organisations such as insurance companies like Bupa or Axa, your G.P or a health care professional or healthcare organisation. For young people under the age of 18, I may receive information from or liaise with a parent or guardian. I will seek the young persons agreement and consent if treatment proceeds and safeguarding policy will apply.

Duty of confidentiality
We are subject to a common law duty of confidentiality. However, there are circumstances where we will share relevant health and care information. These are where:
you’ve provided us with your consent (we have taken it as implied to provide you with care, or you have given it explicitly for other uses);
we have a legal requirement (including court orders) to collect, share or use the data;
